What are the advantages of coming to the Bar directly?
You may find that it is cheaper to come to the Bar first, as our overheads tend to be less than some large solicitors firms, but the quality of the legal advice is as good ( if not better on occasions!).
More importantly, we point you in the direction of a solicitor who is experienced in the type of work that you require, so your level service should be much higher than if you select the solicitor. We can now work for you directly, so in a large case where you have other solicitors (and sometimes barristers if they agree) you can have the same service that major corporations often have of by employing an in house ‘general counsel’.
