SRA achieve strike off again over Escrow Account

In a decision dated 11th January 2016, the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal have struck off another solicitor who faced allegations of Dishonesty and Lack of Integrity over the use of his client account as an Escrow Account for transactions that were suspicious and had the hallmarks of dubious financial investment schemes.

Introduction to Smart Contracts

Smart Contracts were genearlly consideded to have been invented by computer scientist Nick Szabo, probably around 1993, to emphasize the goal of bringing what he calls the “highly evolved” practices of contract law and related business practices to the design of e commerce protocols between strangers on the Internet.
